The other night I had quite a lucky escape. I was driving to my favour

The other night I had quite a lucky escape. I was driving to my favourite nightclub when two policemen accosted me. At first I did not understand as to why they stopped me. I asked myself, am I trespassing? But my answer, to me was no. I was as usual driving down the road. At least to me it did not seem unusual. "Do you have a pass"? One of them asked me. "Pass? What's that for?" It seems you don't know anything about this and this means that you are intruding. Haven't your driving instructors ever told you the meaning of this sign?" He asked me pointing to a sign painted in red that stood right in the middle of the road. Then after talking to the police constables I understood that, the route that took me to the nightclub was blocked. A cabinet ranked minister was going to visit a certain place the next day and that's why there was security for him. "Oh, I am sorry. Actually I did not spot that sign. Otherwise, you would have the need to talk about my driving instructors." "Well. That's enough of the excuses. We aren't hearing this for the first time. We have met people like you who lie through their teeth." "Please believe me. I said I did not see that sign otherwise, I would have changed my plans." "Oh! Plans uh? This means you are surely the one who wants to hurt the minister, don't you?" "What absurd? If I were to hurt him, would I have been here roaming around so freely? I would have been giving final touches to my plans. Don't you think so?" "Yes. I think you are the mastermind behind the attack-in-waiting. Now come on and hand yourself over to us." "Wow. Isn't that good now? Troubling a common man for absolutely no reason. You have grown tired of your job and I think you are in desperate need of a promotion, aren't you? And you are making me a scapegoat to serve your purpose." "Mind your tongue boy." Shouted the constable. "I am an honest cop and nobody can claim anything against me. If you claim not to be the one, then show me your driving and insurance papers." "I don't carry all the insurance papers with me all the time." "What's the commotion?" A senior looking man in uniform appeared on the scene. And to my surprise I saw that he was my old time friend whom I was seeing after so many years. Both of us recognized each other instantaneously. I told him all that had happened till now and he reprimanded his junior. "Mr. Constable, you don't know this guy. We have been friends for over 8 years now and I know he is not the one who will get involved in such acts as you are claiming to be. Moreover he has had good driving instructors. "How do you know Sir, that he has had good driving instructors?" "Because he is a former student of my own driving school. And now please let us alone."
